A lot of uneducated people and Democrats(I know redundant) think the popular vote means something in the Presidential election. So maybe Trump is just trying to boost those #'s so he can dunk on them harder.
Who knows? I retired because it's very unlikely that one can fully avoid conflict as a cop. There's not a soul in this city worth going to jail for except my wife and kids. I'm not going to jail because I had to wrestle a perp to the ground to help some victim I couldn't care less about anyway. Rather collect the pension. These last three weeks have been glorious.

It's all for show to get the inner states scared of the crime happening around the countries. Trump does not need NY or CA to win re-election. It will be an easier victory than the 1st time. People keep thinking his chances are weak. But just think about how difficult the 1st time it was, the 2nd time is a lot easier if you understand political science and stats.

The electoral college system was designed to prevent the uneducated from selecting an unqualified candidate. I believe Trump this time will flip 3-4 more states that he hadn't flip in the past because Biden is just very weak and not exciting enough to get the women and minorities out to support him. With Trump having a 68% white male support it's hard to beat without a strong Dem contender. I would love to vote for a younger Democrat but, the establishment keeps picking old whites. Even Trump is an old white man. I rather have a younger POTUS.

That's why Biden allowing himself,(or his handlers) to paint himself into a corner for having to pick a female POC, was incredibly stupid. That leaves him with a VP candidate selected solely based on her race and gender. How progressive. MLK's dream is dead.
If he had selected a somewhat moderate VP pic, it would have made the races in the battleground states more interesting.
