I like all of them Paris Baguette, Masion Kayser and LPQ
Masion Kayser is traditional and high quality but I like the creativity of Paris Baguette, they have some hybrids of French and Asian and come up with new items a lot. Lady M is another Asian cake place, there is one along side Bryant Park on 40th the have this item Green Tea Crêpes Cake, a delicious thing
Paris Baguette is an Korean bread chain, much like going to a Chinese bakery or Japanese bakery (like Zaiya). It's totally different concepts.
Maison Kayser and Bouchon are French bakeries.
LPQ and Au Bon Pain and American bread shops with French sounding names.
I know what they all are. I said in my previous post Paris Baguette does hybrids of French and Asian pasty, fusion. Some items are entirely European others mixed. For instance the other day I had a piece of chocolate ganache cake there with a macaroon garnish , nothing Asian about it. The point of this thread is pasty stores closing not these technicalities
