If everything was reversed like the situation Total Gut said, i.e. a white group went into a black neighborhood and did the same thing, you would never in a million years be as apologetic about it. No, sticking up for black people (or for any people), when they are in the right is not self loathing but sticking up for black people when they are not in the right, like in this case, IS very much self loathing.
The Left, like yourself, are not sticking up for right or wrong. You are sticking up for the color of the person, whether they are right or wrong. There is that critical difference.
And don’t you just love how the Left downplays hate from their side and tells people to ignore it (“sticks and stones may hurt my bones but words can never hurt me”) but as soon as the other side says something non-PC, they are outraged and call for their condemnation, humiliation, termination, etc.

Why would anyone spread anti italian and irish hate in nyc, especially when those two ethnicities/ancestries are the predominant and most common in not only nyc, but usually the whole tri-state area....
