I'm personally in the “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for bad men to do something" camp myself.

What’s the point? He’d be let out right away anyway and given lots of freebies like gift cards, phones, Metrocards, Yankees tickets, etc.

"Hey, get off her!"

I PROMISE you, if I were there or one of my fellow martial artist buddies and myself, he would have gotten lumped up and then apprehended. Not scolded. He'll just go on to do it again until he's caught.

At this point, who cares what the self defense laws are in NYC. The people who screamed at him are probably being charged for "scaring the perp".

That’s the spirit! For the rest of those who don’t know martial arts or who are too old, carry pepper spray!

I don’t know what happened in St. Louis but using deadly force to prevent a rape is perfectly justified no questions asked!

He looks tough, if you tried to stop him you might wind up on the train tracks. For several people to try to stop him they would have to be familiar with fighting and confident that fellow total strangers would all go at him at once and be persistent and not walk away if he was able to beat up one. Sometimes bystanders do intervene but at risk

Stopping rape is a lawful use of DPF in NY. As a matter of fact, I'd feel much more comfortable shooting someone to stop a rape than I would to stop a robbery. Dems have already established that your property is not really yours or worth defending in their opinion.

All of us who have permits should be allowed to carry. I don’t know what the city’s problem is with this. We are already paying all sorts of money to be licensed and for gun range fees what the heck else do they want?
