DeBlasio is set to announce forehead temperature checks are unreliable and moving forward only rectal temp checks will be accepted.

Nope my temp has been scanned dozen of times in the last 2 month. I'm typically at 97.

Same here. I can't figure out how it is that I can come in sweating from 95-degree heat, and still test under 98.6.

If you're an active person on the slim side you will generally keep a lower temperature than normal. Not sure if that applies to you.
In July I walked 6 miles to my doctor's appointment in the mid-afternoon on a mid-90° day, and when they took my temperature when I came in I was still at 97.0.
