If there really are quotas then why the cops not come and arrest those partiers on my roof top?
I called and called, and then went to the station next day, and they said sorry. Its a perfect chance to pad the numbers. Those partiers are trespassing because dont live in building, and not suppose to be on roof.
Maybe they can arrest or fine the Uber drivers too, and AirBnB providers. Both are technically illegal.
Every job has its plus and minuses. It is much easier to hear
one complain of the wrongs than the rights. If a person does
not like their field of employment simply QUIT and move on
to something that suits you more or are the benefits too good
to leave? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm? Sounds like nothing
but sour grapes..........
What's scary is how long this has been used as a method of collecting revenue and of course Blacks and Hispanics are the usual targets for such a system (not talking about things like speeding tickets/parking violations). With this kind of system in place, mayors (we need to vote them out) become dependent on the police to make revenue for the city.
Anyone still talking about quotas is looking for a payday or fame. Quotas disappeared in the NYPD over 5 years ago. I up and retired because I hate the job so much, there's nothing I want to "defend" the job itself on, but this is a tired trope that's simply not true.
But what needs to be true anymore when knocking the police? The media has completely destroyed "truth" as an important concept in this country.
This same cop does another one of those podcasts with same guys and exposes even more corruption. He working in Flushing, and his LT plus a Det getting paid off by a karaoke/happy ending place owned by Jimmy Lee. A new Cap comes into precinct, and LT wants to oust him by pinning a rape accusation on him.
This Sgt decides to go undercover with IA in order to expose LT only to uncover a web of misbehavior by various cops going to karaoke/happy ending place groping girls, trying to rape them in bathroom. IA tells him just focus on the LT and his frame up job.
Sarge does not like this and decides to sue whole NYPD to expose the truth

The whole point is if something like a quota system can be enacted, and whole the shenanigans that went with, for as long as it did, points likely to more and deeper systemic issues.
If some cops can literally drag another cop and put him in mental institute in order to discredit, then they are certainly capable of other things we dont want them to.

Holy crap that story reads like some academy award winning movie script. Jesus.
You think with all those movies and TV shows, be harder and harder for people to get away with same crimes in real life right, but no.
If I a reporter/journalist I just hang out in front of minority adult entertainment establishments and just see who walks in and out.
