Until there's an "enforcement mechanism" in place issued by local governments, he's wary to allow indoor dining given that many bars violated compliance when they were allowed to open. He also made some digs against De Blasio over the bar issue. He's not confident that De Blasio can assure restaurants will comply.
I saw on twitter he was making an announcement. Was that the big news?

Yeah. Pretty much. Actually...he didn't say anything all that new. Same old, same old. Meh.
Oh, and that the city is in trouble. We're deep in debt to our eyeballs. And he doesn't want to "tax the rich"...yet. He wants the feds to raise taxes instead. Or something to that effect. I wasn't listening all that carefully. I tuned out after his announcement on indoor dining. Which was a non-announcement.

So, with all the crime happening, Cuomo wants New York's finest - police officers, to monitor whether customers are wearing a mask and sitting far enough away from each other?
