I remember walking around Manhattan chinatown with my family as little kid. Such fond memories. This video is going way back. But still close enough to the place I remember. See all the fish brings back the smells.
NYC has such vibrant street life that other places like LA just do not have. I recently posted a vid of the LA Chinatown in that subforum, and just not as much foot traffic. Yet, LA Chinatown, and other parts are quite walkable. Hall and Oates recent single describes it best eventhough they comparing Philly to LA.
Thanks for sharing. Thats my hometown....grew up there in the 80s/90s. Played a lot of basketball at Columbus Park.
