Thankfully no one was killed. Some reports say police have a suspect. If somone did this just charge them with terrorism. How much more destruction is coming to this city? I shudder to think of this.

He'll get charged and will be on the streets again tonight. Thank Governor Cuomo for bail reform.

I wonder if this is related to the leftist anarchy we've been seeing around the country In any case, if they have the person responsible, I hope he gets prosecuted to the full extent allowed by law (not that I'm holding my breath).

Yup and he’ll be given lots of taxpayer subsidized freebies. Thank you Democrats. You have successfully turned everything upside down. Good is now bad and is penalized while bad is now good and rewarded.

Wasn't the bail reform mess done at the state level in Albany?

Have any of you actually looked at the bail reform laws? Does this act of sabotage and domestic terrorism actually necessitate release without bail set? Were it that it allowed for the person who did this to be released with bail set, would that bail money actually keep this person around?

Agreed. Crime and rampaging mob culture has taken over. Those of us traveling to work, supporting families and contributing to society are on our own now.

the nypost said police sources said he’s being treated as an emotionally disturbed person and no charges have been filed. So he’ll be out tonight if that’s the case.

Also said civilians held him waiting for police to arrive. Hopefully they didn’t any pressure on his back. Wonder if the ada will pursue charges on them in this climate.

Sad, but true. Will BDB pay the bail himself?

So sad to see how much anarchy is taking place in NYC in 2020.
