A controversial New York City Council candidate wants to be arrested Monday for the Wednesday night attack of an Orthodox Jewish reporter covering a protest in Brooklyn, the candidate announced Friday in unhinged Twitter video.

City Council candidate Harold “Heshy” carpenter tweeted out that he would surrender himself to the NYPD's 66th Precinct at 10:00 a. m. Monday for inciting a riot and for the alleged attack on Jewish Insider reporter, Jacob Kornbluh.

Kornbluh what reporting on a Borough Park demonstration when he was attacked Wednesday night by a mob protesting schools and businesses being closed down due to a spike in COVID-19 cases.

“I just got a call from the precinct. They will be arresting me Monday morning. I'll be taken in for inciting a riot," carpenter says in the video posted to Twitter. “I will, of course, be pleading not guilty and Mr. Jacob Kornbluh is a very terrible, bad man.”

He is expected to be charged with unlawful imprisonment for ordering the people to surround the reporter as well, police sources said.

Father of Tischler Brothers Indicted on Fraud Charges
The father of the two young men running for elected office in Brooklyn has just been indicted on a number of fraud charges, as reported by the City & State website.

Harold Tischler – whose 21-year-old son Abraham is vying for the State Senate seat in the borough’s new “Super Jewish” district and 20-year-old son Moshe is attempting to unseat long-time Assemblyman Dov Hikind – is being charged with conspiracy to commit immigration fraud, mail and wire fraud, and other charges.

According to the indictment by United States attorney Preet Bharara, Harold (Hershy) Tischler used his position as a housing developer to participate in a multi-million dollar plot hatched by attorney Earl Seth (Rabbi Avraham) David. Over a lengthy period stretching from 1996 to 2009, David submitted fraudulent applications and petitions to the U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, wherein, for a fee of as much as $30,000 each, he “documented” immigrants – who were actually in the country illegally – as under the sponsorship of an American employer, and thereby legal immigrants. One such fictitious employer was Tischler, who allegedly was given cash kickbacks by David for agreeing to be listed as an employer. As the indictment charges, none of the sponsors ever planned to hire these immigrants.

But what are you trying to say? He's obviously not a stand-up guy, but that doesn't take away from the fact that his anger has a point. If the city was willing to rise up over the killing of a criminal who once pistol-whipped a pregnant woman, a neighborhood can rise up over the destruction of the livelihood of a (former?) crook, plus many others who are not crooks.

You could say that none of this would be necessary if they just wore masks and didn't sneak around... but you could say the same about a lot of people who became the poster children of BLM. If they just didn't do this and that, didn't try to sell loosies, didn't try to pay with fake bills. Sure they weren't doing great things, but that doesn't excuse what was done to them.

So I love how the media was all "we're marching for justice" in the summer and now is all "violent protesters, must be banned" in the fall.

"but what about these other people?"

that is the endless diversionary argument

The fact is they have found surges of COVID-19 in 9 particular neighborhoods

when the disease rate starts going on an incline cases can double in several days

So now they are going to take action to bring the number of cases back down.

So your loosies and your pistol whips and your fake bills are completely irrelevant to these facts and a distraction.

AGAIN, THERE IS A SURGE IN PARTICULAR NEIGHBORHOODS AND ACTION NEEDS TO BE TAKEN for the health of the community and to prevent it from spreading to other communities. Had they been following the guidelines they would not be having this surge.

Two people have already been beaten up from radio show host ex-con Heshy Tischler who is a rabble rouser and as are his sons. He also trying to run for City Council. It's political and he's trying to get Trump involved.
It's about him not about the health of his community. Burning face masks in a bon fire is stupid and the mob has already serious beaten two people up over it, in one instance instigated by Tischler.

This man is organizing people to take action, There is no comparison whatsoever between him and George Floyd who was not organizing people. That is just a ball of confusion and distracting rhetoric .

This should not be a political issue

because what it is is a hygiene issue.

And more essential than the masks is the social distancing which is hard for them because of their religious gatherings, nevertheless they need to do it and take measures with their schools like other schools are doing. Several more months of this and we should all be out of this temporary condition. And one man trying to make a name for himself is one of the main causes for the irrational resistance, Heshy Tischler

Yep. Can't do nothing about one group (as in the city doing nothing) and then try to clamp down on another.

I am not asking as a diversionary argument. I am asking because it takes a blind person not to see a double standard here. If people were not treated with kid gloves for much more violent protests earlier, maybe the Orthodox community would take the city's concern at face value. As things stand now... they feel they are being discriminated against and singled out, and will only dig in further. I said back in the summer that the city's stance on protests and rioting will create a culture of "anything goes." I didn't see it coming up in exactly this way, but yes, this is yet another damaging consequence of what happened earlier.
