NYPD has been conducting riot training for the election period. Officers are likely to be on 12 hr shifts (no days off)f beginning October 26th. That being said, not everyone was able to receive the trianing because they RAN OUT OF MONEY. Defunding the police is really working out well.

At least they're preparing for riots this time. I don't expect anything super crazy unless it's clear to those looking to incite that there will be zero zip nada police response. At least, I don't expect anything super crazy from New Yorkers. Our government, on the other hand... it looks like everyone from the mayor to the President is various degrees of insane, and I'm not looking forward to their shenanigans.
