Are you guys in the streets for hours on a consistent basis? Where would you not be that would not have a bathroom? Worst case scenario, walk in a hospital? After all, it is an emergency.

Yeah. Pretty much. I have errands to do and like to walk for exercise. It wasn't all that hard before because there were plenty of places where you had access to the restrooms especially in Manhattan. Now, it's kind of tough and I have to make pit stops back to my apt. In Queens, it's better.
And I'd have to be pretty desperate to go to a hospital to use the restroom. It would truly have to be an emergency. I'd rather just go back & forth to my apt.

Are you doing all of your errands outdoors? No establishment that you frequent has a bathroom?
The walking for exercise part I get.

Not open to the general public. You can't even walk into the actual place. They have a plastic sheet in front of the doorway & you can just pick things up. Prior to, I went into libraries, hotels, churches, bakeries, stores, banks, malls, food courts, fitness centers & indoor public areas to use the facilities. They're either shut down or not open to the public. I don't know if Grand Central/Penn have their public bathrooms open.

I seem to recall there was an app out that listed public bathrooms.

Yeah... Or a website or a book. I hope they've updated it so it reflects the current situation, post covid. I'm going to look into it. You gave me an idea. Thanks!

All good, keep us posted on your findings.

All great reasons to be "pissed" off. Pardon the pun but I suggest you drink the fluids you need then deposit the leftovers back to the city who can't even provide you with a pot to **** in after some of the highest taxes in the nation.
In all fairness though Americans aren't sophisticated enough for public bathrooms unlike 3rd world countries who offer this service for a few cents. Americans used public bathrooms to have sex and smoke crack.
