Nice. I may check this out when I'm next in the area.

https://ilovetheupperwestside.com/fi...s-newest-park/

Waterline Square Park opened to the public this summer, and if you haven’t yet visited, official photos have been revealed for the first time. The park is situated in the center of the three-building Waterline Square complex at Freedom Place South between West 59th Street and West 61st Streets.

Developer GID Development Group has programmed the park with a full calendar of socially-distanced events for residents and those nearby, including yoga, musical performances by Grammy-nominated artists and more. The developer is exploring programming for the park this winter to continue engaging the community.

Someone needs to notify the homeless in the area of the new park. Don’t want them to miss out mingling with the upper west side residents. It’s only fair.

When I used to live in midtown, I'd walk up the path/park on the west side highway to trader joes on the uws and back every week. One day in the dead of winter and no one else around a homeless guy was masturbating, mod cut and saying things too me. I walked as fast as I could with my groceries and then didn't go that walk that route till it got warmer and more people would be in the park.

That's why I said, if you happen to be in the area. This is a couple of blocks away from my place. In the past, I went to Central Park or Riverside Park. This looks like a nice alternative.
