Nice, but ultimately has nothing to do with "rich." Has to do with public pressure.
And, no, money doesn't automatically entitle you to respect.
What "public pressure"? No one knows those men from Adam, and certainly not a GD soul was putting the squeeze on private sector to bail Astor Place barbershop out. Those men stepped up out of their own free will and kindness of hearts, end of discussion.
As for rest of your post having more coins may not "entitle" anyone to anything; but OTOH if you want something from them best learn to choose your words carefully.

Yo...seeing that city data link made it official for me.
Astor Place barbershop closing made local, national and international news; so what? That still does not equal any GD public "pressure" for private citizens to step up and donate funds to keep the place open.
Century 21 and dozens of other places have closed due to covid-19 and despite all the moaning and whatever you don't see anyone propping them up do you?
This was a decision between the guys who opened their wallets and owner of Astor Place barbershop, period and end of story. Those who go to the place as regular customers or will patronize in future get to ride on coat tails of this substantial investment.
That place needs a revamp. They should hire a consultant to give the place a makeover. Also, they should integrate some sort of appointment booking scheduler in the website making it easier to schedule a haircut.
Also, they might want to hire some young barbers...

Exactly once it hits city data you know it's official.:
Kind of like kids who put on their Facebook page that they're in a relationship. Once it's Facebook official it's real

Ugh...you don't understand the point because as per usual you're so into yourself talking , that you go on these tangents that only your perspective is right.
