It depends on what borough. The more south you are, the lighter the snow. Bronx, Manhattan & parts of Queens will be in the higher spectrum and Brooklyn & Staten Island in the lower (6-10 inches).
Thanks for this. Good to know. I guess I'll be getting the higher amount then. Ngl would be high key annoyed to see 2 feet but whatever. lol. Gotta adapt and haven't seen predictions for over 18 inches yet (for NYC).

While you probably shouldn't stop taking your daily vitamins, drinking a glass of wine daily can give your immune system a boost. Moderate alcohol consumption can ward off infections and keep your immune system in check!
I'm still on a long fast from alcohol but dude I could do with some red wine right about now.
I think we can all go for a drink (or two) right about now. News of a full shutdown after Christmas...yeah, that'll drive anyone to drink. After my workout, I'm going to head out again for more groceries. Not because of the snow but because of the looming shutdown.
DSNY pre-salted some streets this morning. It may help but even dry salt is tough on shoes.
Good God they salted the hell out of the sidewalks. I was walking slow and I still slipped. Last thing I need is to fall and have to get another surgery

It is miserable out there. Cold, wet, slippery, windy. I was trying my best not to slip and fall while out on a grocery run & it was a miserable experience. That's it. I'm staying home until tomorrow afternoon when all this blows over.
Btw, they're saying the Bronx is projected to get 12-14 inches. Queens, 12 inches. Staten Island, 6 inches or less.

Those hills and step streets must be a blast

Pretty damn boring so far. Come on, I want the heavy stuff ffs. Hoping for a foot or more (or a lot more) in my corner of Manhattan.
