100 Percent believe in Second Amendment rights. But in large cities like New York city do you have to also use a bit of common sense. You don’t go around showing a firearm causing alarm in a large city ... or anywhere.

We went over this already. Singapore has almost no crime - but it has a huge and well-funded police force, as well as very strict courts, to assure that it continues having almost no crime.

Criminals in Singapore get "caned" if that is determined legally to be their punishment. But it is one-time event, they do not beat prisoners otherwise. They actually have vey few prisoners - they mostly either cane & release them, or execute them. Of course caning will not be used in the US, but it surely works as a crime deterrent in Singapore. Nothing wrong with living safely in an orderly society (what you bizarrely call "sheep", but is much more accurately called freedom from dumb danger). But go ahead, by all means, do get killed at an early age, or become paraplegic for the rest of a pathetic life from a bullet through the spinal cord, if you consider that much more cool!
Have you been to Singapore (or in fact any place other than NYC)? It is equally or more thrilling and cosmopolitan than NYC, but totally absolutely completely safe, at any hour of day or night. I would live there in a heartbeat if it weren't for complications of moving overseas in my 60s, and restrictions on immigration.
It seems so idealistic, however we would never punish people like they do in singapore. Crime does pay here. A police state is a dangerous place to live for free thinkers in my opinion.
Guns wouldnt be on our streets if other states would make gun transfers more documented. There was a time in Va. that private second hand sales were undocumented. Not sure if that is still the case. Va. was a funnel state for firearms on the streets of NY. Loopholes.
