The race resists categorization by the sheer size of the field. According to the New York City Campaign Finance Board, more than thirty-five people have filed paperwork to run. Among them are the city comptroller, Scott Stringer; the Brooklyn borough president, Eric Adams; the former City Hall official Maya Wiley; the Brooklyn rapper Paperboy Prince; an accountant named Quanda Francis; and seven people whom Curbed recently described as having released “very little information about themselves.” At least another half-dozen people bring serious work or government experience to the primary race, including the former Obama Cabinet official Shaun Donovan, the City Council member Carlos Menchaca, the former nonprofit executive Dianne Morales, and the former city sanitation commissioner Kathryn Garcia...

A scum bag who can convince the masses that they are nice people, who care and will fight for your rights. Most cases they either line thier own pockets with schemes at worst, or at best just collect a salary pretending to care. Endless meetings, rallies that are just talk and jack shizzle gets done. Rinse and repeat.

Most are clowns who are as nice as Pennywise. Floating and red balloons.....

Let's be real. The only politicians with a shot of winning NYC these days is a Democrat. I hate to say it but that is the direction the wind is blowing.

Not one of the candidates so far has addressed the concerns of NYC's middle-class. Even the somewhat sensible Kathryn Garcia spouts woke nonsense.

Lol thats because there is no such thing as a middle class. It's a faux construct designed to keep people working so that the 1% can be sustained without needing employment.

There are only 2 classes in the Fiat currency world, the 1% and the 99%.

The 1% does not work and does not have a set time that they have to wake up each day.

The 99% has to work and has a set time to wake up. Patricians and plebeians. There is no middle class and there never was. Even your boss is 99%.

But whatever makes us sleep good.
