Waiting for the subway now is not a fun experience. You have to have your head on a swivel and back to a wall. One less dangerous person around but theres plenty more to take his place.
If it isn't the homeless it's the graffiti between stations. Looks like GD 1970's and 1980's all over again on "N", "Q" and "R" lines where entire walls and everything else between stations are tagged.
We're not talking about the occasional on off, but huge letters/designs that span half the wall or support if not cover entirely.
I always take about how bad that station is. So honestly it doesn't surprise me. Some many homeless and junkies always in the station. At one point its vary narrow to walk to the end of the station and once I was walking when I saw a woman smoking something and when walking past her she blew smoke at my face from the meth she was smoking. Glad the victims are ok.

Oh well. You folks keep taking the subway anyway, so it must not be too bad.
