How's your diet? That has alot to do with how quickly you fully recover. I try to tell people that giving your body a break from processed foods, sugar, dairy, and gluten will boost your immune system significantly along with intaking super-fruits and vegetables on a daily basis. That feeds your body multiple antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals at the same time. Try to eliminate cold beverages too. Warm to hot water aids digestion breaking down those foods and retrieving the nutrients quicker. It also brings down blood pressure and improves circulation, assist with detoxifying, and keeps you hydrated. All critical for the immune system to properly function.
Being diabetic and through diet and exercise down to prediabetic levels my diet has already been as good as I can be
That is how we were ....daily we are at the gym , plus I run a few miles every other day ..been this way for 18 years for us ...
But for now the gym and running are on hold until we feel better ...for now I use the 7 floors of stairs as my stair climber daily ....I am up to 3 floors now ,with the 4th a struggle so I push for that 4th daily ...
Hard to imagine pre covid I would do my typical run and then run up the stairs to the apartment...
Im really happy to hear you are up and about. Small steps man.
There was no reason to go yesterday with those so super cold temperatures. Why would anyone that does not have to go out when it feels close 0 degrees F!?!
Because Braveheart Boomers want to conquer a dead city, "see and be seen"
Maybe once every 3-4 days. Too cold and I'm not a Boomer that has to constantly socialize. Get everything delivered and work out at home.
That’s hilarious. Another poster thinks Boomers are content to never go out. Shows how wrong these generalizations are. News flash. People aren’t born old. What we did when we were 20 is probably what we’re doing now. I go out as much as I used to, but like everyone else, I can’t do everything I want to.

You can tell some posters here just have no clue but anything they can try to make a boomer issue they will jump on it ..even though repeating nonsense over and over does not make it any truer

During most of the week Im teleworking and never go out. Once a week I have to go into the office so I have to catch the dreadful subway. On Saturdays I try to go out and catch some fresh air and then Sundays is my cleaning day so I stay in and relax lol.
No, but my gf does to get groceries. Sometimes I go with her.
