I got an appointment for March 9 at Javits yesterday, based on underlying health conditions. Took nearly 5 hours online.

Meanwhile, my 80 y/o parents who live in Queens can't get vaccinated anywhere they tired. I'm a doctor and all my patients keep asking if I have an pull to them vaccinated sooner, when I can't even get my own friggin parents on a waiting list.

Thanks Cuomo, whose mom is not expendable, but everyone else's is.

No appointments when you go to the website.
Anytime I have time to screw around on CD, I also check the state and city sites- appointments always unavailable.
Seems like the successful people in this thread have to constantly check for availability.

Is there a phone number to call?

why would you need proof of employment, what if someone is between jobs, or simply doesnt work.
not everyone under 65 works, or has to work

Because anyone under 65 gets the vaccine based on employment, at least back when I wrote that.

Just for the sake of clarification....did you make the call at 3AM, or is your shot being administered at 3AM?

I managed to get an appointment yesterday for April 5th at Aqueduct after trying online for about 4 hours (I have an underlying condition). It was stressful and I can't imagine being elderly and trying to do that myself especially if I don't have online experience. Every household should have had a postcard with the telephone number to call sent to them. Every single state failed to set themselves up for this rollout when they had months to plan.
