Truth be told we need walking Lanes. Sidewalks are filled with so many people selling crap and people waiting in lines to go into places. Try to walk on the sidewalk of 125th Street...

Streets should serve the needs of all New Yorkers. If we convert one-quarter of current car space into space for people, every New Yorker could live within a quarter-mile of a protected bus lane, protected bike lane, and public green space — and that’s just the start.
These '25 x 25' morons needs to take out maps of Staten Island and Queens before they make a ridiculous statement like that.
