Thanks to modern appliances and what not, girls get a break usually. But in those Jewish families with 12 or whatever large amount of kids not much has changed in their lives. They still are kept with hands in hot water and faces to the fire because it is their lot in life.

Nothing wrong with big sisters taking care of younger siblings. Long as you don't have one of those "six going on sixty-six" types who thinks she runs the GD world. Types that soon as parents are out of sight start with "you better listen to me because I'm in charge".... Had to sort out a couple of them, and the date with wooden spoon that came afterwards was a small price to have paid.
That is a really sad post. Any woman who has more than 4 kids should be sterilized,

Did anyone see an article the other day about people being mad the banks wouldn't be releasing the funds till 3/17?
I found that funny because this is literally extra money from the government. Nothing earned or promised. And it's not the banks fault the money won't be in there sooner.
I know when I checked my account last weekend, it said pending till 3/17.

3/17 seems to be the magic number because that's when it hit my mom's account.

It hit my account 3/17 too, but my bank wouldn't release it until today 3/18. Multiply that by millions of accounts and the bank has basically stolen millions of dollars in interest by holding the money they already had

I read an article today that 90 million payments have already been made. Considering how slow the government is about absolutely everything, that is an astonishing number in a week.
