I don't think it was a comparison. I think the poster was just stating the would rather go to AC. I am in agreement with them. I used to go to AC a lot. I went to resort world once. I said ok I came here and now I'm good. Don't need to ever return.
I took one of the buses they have/had. They make a loop in the city picking people up and dropping them off. The amount of time I spent on that thing I could've been more then half way to AC.
No tables games, no waitresses coming around bringing drinks, no smoking, and just the whole vibe. I'd rather spend a little more time going to AC.
Exactly, I am not an addict...I swear I'm not...
But I can wait to get my fix in AC...and I know AC is no paradise. RW, Jakes 58, Empire I've been to them all... they do nothing for me.
Now if only there was a direct rail link from Penn to AC...now that would be heaven.
Having a bad run at the tables, grab an adult beverage and walk the boards, try another casino...or just bar hop. That's why I like AC.

You can't smoke in any casino in NYS. It's state law. It's also state law to not serve drinks on the casino floor. You gotta go to the bar and order. Thats why I'm saying you guys are looking at Resort World like something its not. Would you have still went if you knew all of this information beforehand?

Ok, a journalist said it in an article that OP posted. It's the title of the article that the OP posted. Not Resort World themselves. It would be very different if RW advertised themselves in such a manner. Here's their about page, they themselves don't compare themselves to Vegas:

I do know this information. And I did know this information before I went.
Which brings me back to my point. Why would I go there when I can be in a much better atmosphere with things I enjoy?

Just a bit puzzled as to why you would go to a place that clearly you knew didn't meet your gambling standards. Oh well, I'm not sweating it. Stranger things have happened.

Have you been to Beacon, DIA museum by any chance?
No, but it's on my list for post-Covid visits!
The last museum visit for me was Museum of the Moving Image in late 2019!
