You don't even have to go online. Just talk about it. I was telling a friend how a woman I know makes costumes for Revolutionary War reenactments but she doesn't have a lot of money, and I knew someone who wanted to give away a sewing machine, so I got it for her.
The next day ads for sewing machines were on my FB page. Same happened with talking about getting rid of the piano in my mother's house. Poof, ads for pianos appear.
