I can only speak for myself...but it seems this country has just gone off track in a big way. I don't think it's just the pandemic, or the election..or just any 1 reason. Yes..this is sliding off topic...just look at posts all over the forum. How in the h#ll is the U.S. supposed to move forward?...How divided/contentious has it become? A divorced friend of mine is on some of the more respectable dating sites. What he has noticed most in the past 2 yrs or so? Women now stating in their profile..."If you are Rep/Dem..or voted for A/B..don't bother contacting me"....Really?

Sad. It's actually totally fine to be with someone who has different opinions. As long as he or she is not a rabid extremist. But I think that's the whole point here: a fairly large percentage of Americans have become extremists - am I wrong?
