Yea. One craft beer bar I go to knows I’m just there to drink and would put a side salad on my tab so they won’t get in trouble if enforcement does a spot check. $2 side salad on the tab and I just tell them to keep it. I’m kind of a regular now. They don’t even add the salad to my tab anymore. I guess they figure I’d cover for them and say I ordered food if asked. Plus I tip 30% minimum in most cases. Money talks.
