Man, when can we ever get back to normal.

South Ozone Park, Queens is one of about two dozen city neighborhoods that still has a seven-day COVID-19 positivity rate of 10% or higher.

Michelle Boodram says she still takes all the precautions, especially while running errands.

"I wear my mask. I have my hand sanitizer. You know, I try to be careful because of my kids. I don't want them getting sick,” said Boodram.

About two dozen city zip codes still have a seven-day COVID-19 positivity of 10% or higher

After dropping for weeks, the number of COVID-19 cases has plateaued

Doctors and city health officials says more contagious variants have caused cases to plateau. They also say an easing of COVID-19 restrictions is also a factor

Well, I also wonder if many people have stopped getting tested? If you've been vaccinated, you're not going to bother. That would push percentages up. But I don't know if the testing population has in fact dropped.

But also cases are dropping (slowly) and hospitalizations and deaths are falling. The positivity rate will probably start going up, just because people who are vaccinated likely won't be testing just-in-case. So you'll have a higher ratio of people who are actually sick to people who test. It's not a percentage of everyone in the neighborhood, just a percentage of who comes in for tests.

Don't be surprised if a second wave appears September or
October........followed later by a final third " I told you so to get the vaccine."
wave of Covid .....

Covid is real.............the narrative is misleading.

Do not sacrifice your free will to the will of others.

Protect yourself and go on with your lives during this
decimated economy until this man made misery subsides.

It'll be easy to see if Hospitalizations go up this fall. That gives us the answer.

Excerpt: As COVID-19 Cases Plateau, New Yorkers Urged to Not Let Guard Down

Response: Opinion

I will not allow my self to be the guinea pig for any drug company
that is unwilling to back up their product unless they demonstrate
100% liability.

Do the research....

More than Half a billion of us world wide took the risk and it it is growing by millions a week if not a day now ...having had covid this thing is no joke for many of us .

I would certainly choose the vaccine risk over covid again any day

Don’t want to ,that is your choice ...all choices can have consequences.

Either health wise or just the ability to go places without running to be tested all the time first if excelsior use takes off

Some of us remember the 1976 swine flu outbreak which also had a fast tracked vaccine. That vaccine caused Guillain–Barré syndrome in some people. The narrative at that time was also that the vaccine was completely safe. You won’t know until months or years later that a vaccine is completely safe. Remember, these vaccines haven’t been FDA approved, they are allowed under an emergency use authorization. They aren’t FDA approved yet because they don’t have all the data to say they are safe with no long term effects.

Life is filled with risks

We all weigh them out .

I sooner trust a vaccine that will be taken by billions and has almost 600 million already taken it and so far shows little negatives then the high rate of after effects covid can have.

Having felt the power covid has already , I know my choice .

I am hoping one day I can run again because since covid neither of us can.

Without running my other numbers are turning worse .. everything from pressure to sugar are changing ..running was the only cardio I found that has such an impact on me ...

The long term effects of covid has altered that ability as I get winded just walking steps yet lungs show fine and sound fine
