we're in the middle of a pandemic. people got fired and can't pay rent. what's the big deal?
some of you love to shun any form of assistance, until somethin happens to you, and you're looking for it
Don't let some of these people fall on hard times, most people are a couple paychecks away from homelessness. While I agree there needs to be a better method of distributing aid, its still necessary.

Israel is a wealthy first-world nation, boasting lucrative tech, pharmaceutical, and military export firms. Despite that, Israel receives billions of U.S. aid every year -- money that Israel doesn't need, but aggressively lobbies for, simply because it can.
I don't see that Israel has any grounds for complaint about U.S. "arrogance."
Why behave as if TENANTS are getting rent money. The money flows from Albany to the LANDLORDS. Tenants never see a penny.
Yes, but it's money that tenants owe.
If you owe money to Joe, and I pay off your debt, would you gripe and say, "Hey, you didn't do it for me, you did it for Joe!"
On the contrary, you should be grateful to me. Just as tenants should be grateful to Albany.
Unless these deadbeat tenants didn't plan on ever paying their rent, in which case I can see how they'd be indifferent to landlords getting paid by Albany.

He believes tenants should live rent free and that landlords are all criminals.
