Because staying home and “masked up” makes you sick.

Vitamin D3 boosts immune health. You can only get D3 from the sun. In addition to this, alcohol and carbohydrates (breads, pastas, crackers, cereals, waffles, etc) cause inflammation of the vascular system and your body treats it like it does viruses. Pepsi-Frito lays stocks have surged during Covid and people are getting fatter and sicker. Alcohol stores have remained open but gyms have closed. How dumb of these politicians to decide this.

In addition to this, not moving around or exercising creates in part insulin resistance. This is a metabolic disease which will absolutely not make the body strong against viruses.

I think a lot of people have been gaining weight simply from boredom eating/drinking

Not me. I had two surgeries and couldn't work out or even walk for quite some time. That's when you make sure you are eating a completely healthy and clean diet.
There is no excuse to not take care of yourself. People freaking out over a virus for the last year and still don't exercise or eat healthy Clearly even a pandemic can't teach people to take care of their health.

stop spreading misinformation. You can get D3 in tablets

also being outdoors is much lower risk then being indoors in places without masks where strangers are mingling and talking

How to get more exercise if you live in an apartment building.

Use the stairs everyday. Entirely or part elevator

Well yeah, people should use common sense... You know how that goes though.

No one had dealt with the fact that the basic premise of this thread is incorrect. Covid cases in NYC are significantly down from their peak, and have been on a continuous downtrend over the last several weeks.
