They can make the test free. They will still have problems attracting quality applicants in this client and with that low pay. I always feel so bad for those beat cops standing out in the cold in the hood in the winter. Plus they are considering requiring recruits to reside in the five boroughs. I wish the agency luck.

with that kind of starting salary I will be more than happy to let them set up camp in my back yard
since they won't even be able to afford the rent in any of the five boroughs. Give me a break! (Sarcasm )

That is a similar salary to a Popeyes manager... and you don't have to deal with perps, lawsuits, threats from the public, crazy and dangerous people, etc.

$40k + ~$10-15K of overtime (correct me if I'm wrong), so $50-55K a year? That's an absolute joke.
