Right. But it's still sad for those who work and just want to live peacefully and end up stuck there. Out of all the residents, there are bound to be good people.

You have to feel bad for them not being able to terrorize the neighborhood with their dirt bikes at all hours of the night as is their right. This is all management. It is actually written in my lease that there is absolutely no storage of personal items in common areas/hallways. All personal items found in hallway will be give one warning, assumed abandon and disposed of.
One tenant thought I was joking. That never happened again. I am not incurring fire department fines for anyone.
