There's no comparison to the NYPD and DSNY when it comes to the war on cops.
The police are charged with enforcing laws against people who don't want to be caught. No other city job compares in that sense. There's no relevancy.
A job is a job, at the end of the day you still are get paid to do something
I can't work as a cook and complain about getting spattered with hot oil, sometimes it happens
I'm not seeing this as downplaying the situation. I'm seeing it more as complaining to be honest. If any profession affects you mentally you should walk away from it. Money's not worth your sanity.

Wrong analogy. Politicos are encouraging people to complain about cops. I'm no fan of cops but I also know that most of those complaining have a 5th grade education or believe that the world is against them because they're not white/Asian.
I'd love to see what percentage of complaints were filed by those who were formerly convicted of a crime it have had a family member convicted of a crime.

Is this your attempt at placing blame? Because I'm not sure who you're pointing the finger at.

Agree to disagree.
Comparing cops to other jobs is not productive. Comparing what is happening now to cops is downright counterproductive.
The profession as a whole is being destroyed. Intentionally.

I'm just breaking it down to the lowest common denominator. I have to be somewhere at a certain time for a certain amount of hours for a certain amount of money.
