Them expecting accountability isn't hate. I expect the same and where I'm from, I've seen those wages for cops. I have done posts advocating for them. It's not so black and whitw.
The corruption in the NYPD is deep, systemic, and will never be fully rooted out; these three are the icing on the cake. More effort should be directed at uncovering nasty corrupt cops like this, just lift the rock and hundreds if not thousands will come scurrying out.
Oh, and they live on Long Island? Golly what a surprise.

Every "mistake" is also not the same. A cop being rude isn't the same as a cop assaulting someone.
If your job is writing you up for nonesense reasons all I can say is try to find a better one.
The NYPD is the king of writing up cops for minor reasons. They are called command disciplines and they spew out of captain's offices like a leaking fire hydrant.
