So yes 70% of NY has gotten the vaccine but a huge portion Of unvaccinated New Yorkers already have immunity because they had Covid. People seem to forget that

Staten Island population

474,893

Staten Island confirmed cases COVID

74,582

about 16%

The amount of cases is not near the medically
recommended vaccine goals,
and the average person is not going to be looking closely at this data anyway

Staten Island, vaccinated

However, and I don't know if this is proper analysis. If 70% vaccinated was the medical goal
maybe the 50% vaccinated plus the 16% of cases adds up to 66% ( deaths lowering the percentage slightly statistically )

assuming that somebody who, say had COVID in early 2020 is currently immune, that is not clear

Communities becoming sick from covid may be because of cultural lifestyles. For instance, women who cover themselves from head to toe in religious gear prevent themselves from absorbing vitamin D - the anti inflammatory vitamin. Same with the people who are always wearing suntan lotion. Also same with people with darker skin. (It takes longer for the suns rays to penetrate dark skin).

If you’re not taking supplements and lowering your intake of processed foods (anything made with GMOs, grains, vegetable oils - which are really unnatural seed oils, (and cause inflammation of the entire vascular system), breads, pastas, crackers, cereals, waffles, pancakes, etc (and anything made with refined white flour which is a poison) will absolutely get you sick from covid and other viruses for metabolic disorders for that matter.

People also forget that actions have consequences.
The same people who will eviscerate those in other states like florida for having large gatherings, not wearing masks etc to prevent covid will see minorities in NYC getting covid at higher rates and blame racism for it.It doesn't even dawn on them that maybe it's not racism. They were't socially distancing, wearing masks etc at as high of a rate and don't want vaccines at the same rate. That isn't racism. It's life choices people made with bad consequences and pure hypocrisy from those crying racism.

Now if hospitals are way worse in these minority neighborhood so treatment for it is a lot worse that's a separate issue that should be rectified.
