How can that be profitable? There is something on a similar principle in Bangkok, sort of like a shopping/eating center with some art galleries (called Asiatique The Riverfront) for which there is a free boat from the main public transportation hub (where riverboats are a major part of public transportation system in BKK). But this eating/shopping/art center in BKK is not just one single store, and it is reasonably well visited.
