State judge strikes down controversial NYC ‘diaphragm law’ preventing cops from restricting breathing during arrest

A state judge Tuesday tossed the city’s controversial “diaphragm law,” which would make it a crime for police to restrain a suspect by restricting their breathing.

The law, enacted in 2020, bans the use of chokeholds, which are already outlawed by the state, but adds language making it a misdemeanor for cops to restrain someone by “sitting, kneeling or standing on the chest or back in a manner that compresses the diaphragm.”

The other scenario is the Detroit-ification of NYC, San Fran, Chicago, Philadelphia, etc... over years and decades and then everyone just leaves and moves to red states. No war except within the same people self destructing in urban centers while other regions thrive
why wait for a better organized 6 ??
just move to the red states now and cut out the messy stuff

What's the alternative put 80% of New Yorkers in concentration camps?

Say what? We've gotten so far down the path to hell that it's not impossible that eventually people who stay and do not virtue signal with the leftist mob will be put in Gulags, which is the concentration camps you're actually referring to. Liberals would be wise to wake the hell up and purge the woke cultists from their midst before it's too late. Because when the conservatives leave, there'll be no one left to stand up for them

Blake, wake up, New York has always been liberal, what's the point?

why are we even here when we could be living in Arlington, Jacksonville or Virginia Beach?

yes we need a purge, whatever it takes. The first civil war was only 4 years, that's doable

I have no problems with liberals, none. I myself am liberal on several issues. America's problem right now is with Communists, and they won't hesitate to eventually put you up against the wall if you keep empowering them

You are playing with some serious fire

But isn't a "liberal" a closet Communist?

I remember 80s and 90s in New York that if you watched some protests you would see some people passing out socialist or communist newspapers "Workers' World" and so on
and people in these groups were sympathetic to revolutionary groups in Latin America like the Sandinistas.
And in certain parks or even on the sidewalks in some places sometimes see people with tables set up with communist newspapers and they were always up for fierce debates.
You also might have seen some mayoral candidates that were left wing, like the Green Party and might occasionally see somebody passing out promotions for them or a little news coverage.
You don't see that now. You dont' even see prominent leftist intellectuals making much of a splash, they are lower profile now.

Where are all these Communists? Got any names of the leaders?
