Does anyone know if the MTA is giving "recovery days" (I'm not sure on the proper term), but I believe that USPS gives a day or 2 after you receive your Covid vaccine, for you to "recover" if need be. I was curious if the MTA is extending the same courtesy/

Or would the MTA just force you to use up "sick days" if they don't have anything in place as far as allotted recovery days?

Not sure About the MTA but city agencies give you time off to recover that doesn’t affect your regular sick time

Wow how horrible, that you actually have to inject yourself every single year with a new booster vaccine just to work

Is there anyone out here that feels sorry for people like this?

all because deblasio said you had to, he's not even a doctor and he's on his way out as mayor

I mean it's not even approved by the fda for crying out loud.

What's going to happen if the vaccine gives you cancer?

You do understand that the medical industry was Andrew cuomo's biggest donors right?

I find it ironic all of a sudden you need to be injected with a vaccine just to work

I'm sure they are slapping cuomo a high 5 for his mission accomplished

@homestead123 Thanks. I don't work for the MTA or at a city agency. I read online that the MTA was providing some pay for people to go get vaccinated, but that article was from January 2021, so it might be outdated.

Everyone else that commented, thanks for taking the time to read my message.

I freelance. I had a choice. I could either keep working in the industries I freelance in or find a new career. I decided I liked the work I do and to get it versus looking for a new career were it wasn't required. We all have choices in life. Everyone can make the best choice for themselves.
Though I will say I wanted to be able to see live music and attend concerts. That had more of an impact on why I got the vaccine.

Recovery Days?

Dang.......I was entitled to 5 sick days a year.
If I used 10 of them in 40 years that was a lot.
Our bosses always made us feel like crap for
taking off and also let us know in so many words
that we can easily be replaced if we used more of
our sick days. I can still hear them say.

" Jobs need to be filled. Time is money. If you can't be a team player we'll find someone else."

Glad to be retired...............

You kids got it too easy.................
