I heard on the local news the storm is predicted to hit right during high tide again. Sounds like they are going to close all those new storm door at the tunnels and subways.

Glad I live up on a hill.

Just two weeks ago I was in an Uber and there was a flash storm and the waters rose up to the windows. I was so afraid the car would be swept off. It all happened very suddenly and I couldn’t believe it. Just relaying the experience so that if anyone wants to drive in the storm … don’t!

Remember the big storm that flooded the Bronx and upper Manhattan? That’s when the Uber incident happened. I was thinking also about the flooding that will happen in the subways and in some peoples homes just like it did on that day:

That was really bad. Also, the NJ turnpike was awful according to a friend of mine.

This has potential for a lot of damage. Job told me not to come in if its too rough out there. Thats very rare for them to tell us a day before.
