I hope someone out there can help me.
I need to surrender my license plates, I have been trying to call the DMV in Coney Island, but to no avail...
My question is, do they have a drop off box to drop off my plates or do I have to go and wait on a line, and I have found a mailing address in Albany to mail the plates back, what does anyone think will be the best option for me.

calling thier telephone, well, lets just say, id rather put a pitchfork in my eye.

any advice is appreciated

Staten Island office has a drop box, I'm sure Coney does as well.

Drop off those plates and keep a receipt.
I could have had problems if it weren't for my receipt stub
for surrendering plates. It was called an F7 back then.
Somehow my junked vehicle was ticketed and yup.....
the registration stamped on the car was the avenue to my home
address along with hundreds of dollars in fines. A not guilty checkoff
and photocopy in the mail was all it took for the dismissal................
