Good for them. Effing city council and Sam the Eagle have been in bed with Hotel Trades union for eight years now. Latter says "jump" and city says "how high?".

I am confused. You can fire everyone for not being vaccinated but if a company has to lay off workers because they literally weren't making money they have to pay? With what money? They laid off the workers because they had no money to begin with.

Wah wah wah. Pay up fools!!! After years and years of preaching propaganda...forcing the working class against each others like snitches. .keeping the union out...and fire em like the little bugs they are.

In the big M case, rehire with new staff by sub contracting them jobs to the highest bidder.

Them poor company peons that fell for the HR propaganda like "you dont need a union" , now pay up .

I dont like the" fired upto 75%" of workforce .

Actually this is not anything new .most of the hotel workers belong to the union already and have those same benefits in severance for years .

The news is the few non union hotel workers now have to get the same benefit .
