Not for nothing but when entire story comes out it's likely going to be same ole, same ole.
Adult hot head son with mental "issues" who parents should have kicked to curb a long time ago. But because he's their kid they let him live in their home because that's what parents do....
No one gets so upset at dinner table that out of blue he runs for a gun and starts popping off.

The kid is 18. When should they have kicked him out of the house- maybe 16 would be the appropriate age to be “kicked to the curb”.
Who here thinks that having a gun in the house may have contributed to a deadly outcome?
I can’t help but think that if there was no gun easily accessible there would be no death.

Kicked him to the curb so that what? He could be homeless on the street with mental issue instead?
If he does indeed have mental or substance issues, they should have sought treatment for him as parents are obligated to do when looking after a minor child. It didn't just suddenly appear the day he turned 18.
People I know down that way are selling and moving to NJ, NC or any place else to get off and or away from what SI has become.
No way, that house has been there since the late 70's. I mean it's "new" on a block with houses from the 20's and 30's but it's been around itself at this point.
Did you know them? Any insights to why this happened?
I didn't. My father remembers them. He said they've always been quiet and kept to themselves, which on that block is actually rare. It was a real old school place to live. Everyone hanging out, kids growing up as close friends, etc.

There aren't to many blocks like that anymore. We have a ton of kids in my neighborhood. Hardly w=any ever go outside to play or socialize. They all wanna stay inside ane be online.
