I'm actually waiting to be transferred for a two bedroom for me and my daughter. The transfer was approved in January 2014 and they still haven't contacted me for the apt. Does anyone know how long is the wait for a transfer? It's in the same Unit by the way...

Hi, late, but better than never, lol

A 2-room in nycha is a studio, that means no bedroom.

A 3-room is a 1 bedroom apartment.

A 4-room is a 2 bedroom apartment

and so on......

It seems that they count the kitchen and the livingroom as 2 rooms, and 0 bedrooms
