I answered your question and it's telling that you still dont understand what's happening. It's not a secret. The Biden admin itself has pointed fingers at the "culprits".

I'll lay it out once again.

When entire countries/regimes (many of which aren't our allies) rely on oil and gas exports to effectively exist and our politicians threaten their existence in the long term but have no short term leverage, we get what we're seeing now. It also doesn't help that many of these countries don't fear/respect Biden's response (bc there effectively isn't one).

The Biden admin is full of morons who only know how to play domestic race politics. You really think Kamala Harris, Tiny Blinken, Jake Sullivan, etc. Have the wherewithal to play this game against Putin, MBS, the Iranians, and the Chinese?

I was no fan of Trump but at least I could trust him to play a competent game against our adversaries (mostly bc he was a nutcase and our adversaries couldn't predict him). The Biden admin are a bunch of imbeciles who only know how to play domestic race politics

Biden admin severely gimped our oil production by banning auctions of land for any new oil exploration and restricted oil supply from Canada by banning Keystone XL pipeline, among a myriad of other things. Just because the pipeline is not built, it doesn't mean we won't get the oil. We still get the oil but just from more expensive sources and much more expensive ways.
