People take the train or use to because of the ease and being faster.

Good people being forced to arm themselves
because New York City Politicos ignore the
continued escalation of crime.

I remember the story Bernie Goetz.
A person who had enough with escalating
lawlessness and decided to take matters into
his own hands.

This is a path that New York City seems to be heading towards.
I hope it can be avoided................

People that wear suits need to drive?
Wearing a suit is gross?

I do not like suits but always admired those who wore
them on the train. Very Classy and made the train ride
feel that much more clean and tailored.............

Maybe they should threaten to take their offices and business out of the city if our politicians don't wake up and do something.

No, wearing a suit on the train is gross

The train is nasty. I hated the few times I needed to wear my best stuff on the train

I love how you think people wearing a suit means money.

Once the expensive leases on a lot of NYC office space expires many companies will do just that. No need to remain in NYC for most companies, or only a small presence for executives. The attraction of WFH to well-paid suburbanites and NYC's decline are the reasons.

NYC will remain very desirable because there's so much to do and the city is very walkable. Close in suburban areas on LI and NJ are also very appealing, but the far away suburban lifestyle in Podunk USA, where one is totally car dependent is a nightmare.

Apparently, you've never been on the 4 or 5 train from Grand Central to Wall Street. Natural flow of suits from MetroNorth to Lex Express.

BTW, people who wear suits on this journey, never would use "all fly". You betray . .
