It's insane what was intentionally done to the BQE. I take the belt for everything now or come up and over the city using the GW and Triboro. Thankfully my tolls are reimbursed so I don't care but I can't imagine having to pay all those tolls because of a purposefully-created traffic nightmare.

They did this because they failed to get permission to toll the east river bridges. No more money for us? Well take this serfs!

That 110%!!!! The traffic was created. Lane eliminations, “open street seating”, bike lanes (more lane elimination. But then they say the traffic is terrible and we need more tolls to encourage subway ridership.
