They're on a roll! Look for more lunacy in last 24 hours as current city council runs out the clock.

This is another example of a policy that I personally like, but one that I think government has no business mandating of private businesses.

Another reason for businesses to move out of the city.

Total lunacy.

It's sad we have a generation of young people that
are over educated

(Back in the days us stupid old blue collars
called them too smart for their own good.)

and refuse to accept any menial job.

Years go by ,they struggle but hold steadfast.
" I won't work for pennies. " they say.

Guess what pal.....if you did ...
you would have had a couple of bucks saved up by now.
So much for school............

I don't understand the logic in pushing this mandate to show min/max salaries. How does this deter gender/racial bias?

The only people who are against this policy are those who are retired or worked only 1-2 jobs in their lives. They are therefore unfamiliar with the brutal job market changes, bait and switch tactics of recruiters, and "ghosting" of candidates.

I don't see anything wrong with this. This doesn't stipulate how wide the range should be.

I'm "pro business" but that doesn't mean businesses can **** on employees and play games.

The more market transparency you have, the more efficient a market becomes.

This is no different than stores being mandated to advertise prices.

It's usually "conservatives" who also "happen" to work for the government under unions. I can add they don't work too hard either.

Total contradiction but it exists and there's a lot of them. Government jobs exist in some lala land where accountability and profitability literally do not matter.

I'm saying this as a very socially libertarian but fiscally conservative person myself.
