They keep saying the victim was Asian. And that another woman just before her was not an Asian. They make a point of saying Asian or not. But no mention of the killer's race? Just tell us all or don't bother bringing it up.

It's come to the point where if they don't mention the race of the perp, we know exactly what his/her race is. And the media is open about why they do such. According to them, it's in order to avoid further "stigmatizing" the black community In reality, it is pure racism and double standards.

The guy who killed the 19-year old Burger King cashier in Harlem was also a homeless shelter resident (but he wore a designer belt, which helped NYPD in identifying him ).

Point ebony. Cops come after crime is committed. Not their fault. It’s just how it works.

The race of the perp is exactly who we all had presumed.

What have I been saying? Keep telling you people Q/N/R is sketchy as eff, and has been for a few years before 2019. Eff tons of homeless on trains, platforms and in stations, but not a GD LE to be seen. Oh now and they you'll see the odd one or two off, and or after an event like this a show of force, but that's all just for show. Few days later (if that), they're long gone.

So now yet another poor soul has paid with their life for doing nothing more than trying to go about their private business, which sadly involved using NYC subway system nowadays.

*RIP*

Mayor Eric Adams said the NYPD will continue to ensure the transit system is safe for commuters following the grisly shoving of a woman onto the subway tracks and toward the path of an incoming train at the Times Square subway station Saturday morning.

The victim, an Asian woman in her 40s and living in New York City, was on the southbound platform when she was suddenly shoved into the Q/R tracks by the suspect in an "unprovoked" incident, according to NYPD Commissioner Keechant Sewell at a news conference Saturday. A Q train arriving into the station hit the woman, and emergency responders pronounced her dead at the scene.

The suspect--who may be homeless and was known by police--quickly turned himself in to investigators at a local transit precinct. Investigators determined the suspect had harassed another woman, who was not Asian, before approaching after the victim who was killed. The names of the suspect or victim were not released.

"This is a safe system because of the job of the transit officers have carried out," Adams said at the briefing inside the Times Square station. "We're going to continue to enhance, to deal with the mental health crisis that we have in our system."

Charges against the suspect are pending, according to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who was at the briefing.

The incident was just as difficult for the train operator, according to Canella Gomez, vice president of the union representing subway operators and conductors.

"I have spoken to the train operator. He is at Bellevue Hospital receiving the medical assistance he needs and deserves to make sure he is okay," Gomez said her in statement.
"With a new Mayor it is time to come up with a real plan that works to deal with the homeless situation in the subway system."
"This is a safe system because of the job of the transit officers have carried out," Adams said

Really Adams, I think the woman who died with disagree.

If you're expecting to hear "suspect is described as male black...." forget it. Every LE department in USA has been beat down over that sort of description.

It's effing funny because now all they say is things like "suspect is described as male, about 5'10" wearing dark hoodie..." Oh yeah, that really narrows things down...

This guy is off his rocker. He'll be sent to some nice quiet hospital for criminally insane where he'll live out a nice rest of his life including three hots and a cot along with free meds.

Meanwhile that poor UWS Asian woman is dead, and died a horrible death.
