Wonder why (sar) Adam's Get Back and work in NYC is not gaining traction?

Really Adams, I think the woman who died with disagree.
Facts. He's trying to gaslight. Just like de Blasio. "No, problem here folks. It's safe. Just go about your business and enjoy all that this city has to offer". Yeah. Right. Don't believe your lying eyes.

I am so sick and tired of this.

Me too. When I go to work super early half the cars have homeless passed out in. When I come home from work late, the platforms and the trains have mentally ill yelling and screaming. Let's get them the help they need.

People are going to start voting with their feet and wallets to get away from this dysfunctional city.

Rip to the young woman. Unfortunately her case will be forgotten by most and likely won't make cnn.

That sentence doesn't even remotely make sense. It's gobbledygook.

Does he mean "This is a safe system because the transit officers are doing their jobs"? If so, that's obviously not true! How can you even say something like that right after a woman is killed?

I've lost confidence in this mayor and it's been what, 2 weeks?

They will put on security theater, with cops around for a week and then its right back to not seeing them again. With Bragg and the criminal friendly city its turned into, arrests for most crimes are just an speed bump for them anyway.

The hope of a new mayor coming in to take charge, clean things up and move forward is just more political rhetoric. The band the Who said it best:

"Meet the new boss, same as the old boss."

Still want to know what happened to those 500 extra LE MTA was supposed to be hiring for subways? This was announced a few years ago now and I've yet to see any increased show of force.

Or Animal Farm. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Same old, same old.

When are we going to revisit our policies on institutionalization? There are obviously serious issues with how we deal with the mentally ill and it is not a system that works well for anyone nor is it some kind of workable compromise. It is a failure as is.
