Great Response.

A Foolish generation of young people, and some still alive older people with bad intentions
are the driving mechanisms behind statue removals and what many see as an affront to our American way of Life.

One need not worry for history always repeats and I believe there will one day come that time of reckoning.

Tear down Teddy yet erect a statue of George Floyd. A criminal drug addict who contributed absolutely nothing to society and who’s only claim to fame was getting murdered by an overzealous police officer who was rightfully tried and convicted for his crime.

Too late: the "tear down Mr. Rushmore" claque came out in full force several years ago.

With the amount of restrictions the NYC govt has put down, tourists are scared/disinterested in coming here anymore. Thus, it really doesn't matter what they replace it with, if they even replace it, as there will be no one here to go to the attractions anymore to see it.

The left/liberals put in an immense amount of effort, learn how to use the system, and find creative ways to attack it and take it over. Conservatives stupidly mutter "GET GUBMINT OFF MY BACK!" as though the very concept of governing (maintaining) society is anathema. Conservatives don't even understand that governing is something that encompasses more than just official state action. To hear most of them describe it, the only two types of civic action are "governing through state offices" and "complaining about/voting against liberals". Otherwise it is sit on couch time.

You can't win these fights from the outside by throwing tantrums. You lost the fight because you are not on the inside. You are not shaping policy, you are complaining about libs shaping policy. Libs won because libs showed up and did the work. Even on this forum you can easily find people who will just complain about having to do any of the work.
Why am I not surprised that no one responded to this

Thought it might be educational to post pictures of the Actual Statue as it stood, since nowhere is it fully shown in the video. You don't have to be "woke" to find it offensive in 2022. And, it will be displayed respectfully, where it belongs, at the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library.

At this rate, South Dakota will have more of a tourist draw and appeal in 25-50 years than NYC will have!
