charter schools can get rid of their worst students. Public schools do not have that option as they must educate every student, no matter how bad or disruptive the student is.
That is the core of the argument.
IO went to Catholic School and the biggest threat was to the worst students "Keep that up and you will have to go to PUBLIC SCHOOL." They pained public school like Damnte's 10th level of Hell.

The dummies and disruptives just seemed to disappear, like in a Steven King novel.

These charters abuse there employees also.
This is bs. Charter schools are not allowed to get rid of special ed students or ESL students. They are required to take them and keep them at the school by law. If any special ed. student was kicked out of a charter, they definitely can sue the school. There are even some charters with ~25% of the school consisting of kids with various learning disabilities, which is significantly higher than any public school.

Public anything in this city is garbage. Government has shown that everything they do will be inferior.

Its statistically still better than being with disrespectful idiots and public union teachers who do not care.

Keep in mind that charter schools are public schools that are run independent of a school district.

They are still run by the public, but just without the constrains that can come with being under a school district.

They realize in K/1st grade and they mark them down for behavior issues so they use that as an excuse to have them go to a setting that better suits them such as public or catholic schools. I don’t really care my kids don’t go to some pos city school and my wife and I will be lounging on her 6 figure pension in Florida in nyc tax payers dime. Charters have a place maybe some are good, not the one she worked for.

Default Biden's wants end to charter schools

Of course he wants to end them, he and Obama were against school choice and Charter Schools don't have to be unionized, as the liberals are big supporters of unions. The teacher's union is largest supporter financially of Democratic Party. 120K children left NYC public schools last year.
